On-Air as brand new DJ for Radio Station 107.5 FM Bosveld Stereo

The year 2016 has come and will soon be gone, but it sure has been an interesting one for multi-medium performer Chris Nell.

It started with humble beginnings when he undertook Drama classes to add to his already extended portfolio. Scarcely two months fresh out of Drama School, he copped a lead role in a short film, produced by the University of Johannesburg. In between he was hard at work shopping around his skills to production houses, theatre companies and radio stations to put his newfound skills to good use.

To top off what appears to be a busy year, the effort finally paid off in more ways the just one. Chris has been appointed as DJ for popular Afrikaans radio station 107.5 FM Bosveld Stereo!!!!!!!

Based out of Hartbeespoort, Bosveld Stereo was originally launched as a community station in October 2008 and quickly grew to new heights since taking to air, broadcasting to the North West region and the greater metropolitan area, including Randburg, Bryanston, Krugersdorp and Sandton.

As the new on-air addition to the station’s lineup, listeners both young and old will be treated to an eclectic mix of music ranging from Afrikaans, 60’s, 70’s 80’s and even the 90’s era.

Resident broadcasters include former Jacaranda DJ’s Theo Conradie and Wimpie Botha, as well as Eddie Dippenaar who previously served as on-air talent at the SABC and also currently serves as the station’s Programme Manager.

With this new position to add on his CV, Chris hopes to uphold the standard of the station and to entertain the audience the only he knows how . . . to be “Everybody’s Best Friend.” Chris will take to the air by the end of November
